DJ Hero 2 game review

DJ Hero 2 game review

DJ Hero 2 is the new music and rhythm game to come out of Activations’ massively selling Hero franchise. DJ Hero 2 is a game where you are playing as a DJ mashing up popular song, playing gigs and having battles around the world. I thought that the game play was amazing because of the controls that are used. The turn table controls are very easy to get used to in a short space of time and once you feel that you have mastered them I would recommend changing to a higher difficulty. On the controls there are three buttons green, red and blue, the green and blue buttons represents different song the you as the DJ mash up. The red buttons is different sound FX that you can incorporate in to the mash up. There is also cross fader, pitch control and a euphoria button. The cross fader switches from track to track, the pitch control works by turning the dial to make the mash up sound distorted. Both of these features are used very well during game play because it gives you the feelings that you have complete control. The euphoria button is the concept as star power in guitar hero; this allows your points to double during game play. The last part of the controls is scratching you do this by holding down the green or the blue button and moving the turntable backwards and forewords. The bad point about the game is the price; the standard retail price is around £70  and I feel that if they sold the game for £20 and the turn table  between £20-£30.
